Snoopy's back -- and invites your questions

By Snoopy

Greetings!

The Snoopster has surfaced again! I know, I know, its been wayyy too long since I have been doing any active modeling, but that really isn't any excuse not to write anything.

I do, however have some fabulous excuses for not flying though.

I have been (STILL) working on a home remodel project, and that has put all modeling activities on hold. The lack of a model shop puts a damper on it for sure.

I have recently been asked many questions about our hobby, some seeming fairly basic.

I began to realize that there are many new faces that have been popping up, and maybe its time to cover some basics again.

There aren't any stupid questions! If you don't know something, please ask! It is much easier to ask a question than to tear out a mistake in your new airplane.

This is part of the fun of this hobby, especially in the Northwest.

There are many people in different areas who are a wealth of information, and are very willing to share it.

SO, I will be working on some photo how-to's in the near future.

Some of the topics will include building techniques, shop safety, soldering, and diesel engine tuning.

In the meantime, with the contest schedule rapidly approaching I wish you steady needle settings, taut lines and smooth landings!
