Mike Hazel replaces Dick Salter as contest coordinator

A serious illness has made it impossible for Dick Salter to continue in his longtime position as Academy of Model Aeronautics Dist. XI Control-Line and Free-Flight contest coordinator. More information on Dick's situation is available from his son, Rich Salter.

The AMA has appointed Mike Hazel (right) of Mehama, Ore., as the new CL and Free-Flight contest coordinator. Mike is knowledgable about all forms of model aviation and is active on the Northwest control-line contest scene. This change was announced by Dist. XI Vice President Mike Mosbrooker on April 10, 2013.
