Ron Salo Memorial Speed Contest

The weather forecast was not good, even early Saturday morning as I set out to prepare the site. The forecast was for medium to heavy rain both days and it did rain, overnight. However both days the rain held off until a half-hour before the planned contest closing times. Other than it could have been a bit warmer. It turned out to be great flying weather, so we lucked out.

It was disappointing that none of the locals showed up, but it was their loss.

There were 6 contestants and a total of 20 class entries, below is a report for the contest:
